Description
When testing low carbonation beverage products in plastic bottles, this neck support device [PN: T-03-115] prevents the bottle from collapsing when it is pierced.
Carbonation Tester Description
The Terriss/LSE Carbonation Tester (PN: T-03-300) is inexpensive, easy to use, and more precise in piercing the container than any other manual device. It fits all size bottles and cans and comes complete with a dual scale 100 psi/7.0 kg/cm² pressure gauge and a dual scale 25 – 125°F/0 – 50°C dial thermometer.
Piercing is a one hand operation and requires little force. A toggle valve takes the guess work out of knowing whether the valve is open or closed. A special diaphragm assembly protects the gauge and lengthens its life. The diaphragm assembly is responsive to 1″ of water pressure (.036 psi). The unit can be used with an ultrasonic shaker, which fits directly on the tester base.
