Description
The m-Green Yeast and Mold Broth (PN: T-10-403) is used for the testing of soft drinks and other beverages like beer, bottled water, cider, soft drink, sport drink, and wine for growth of yeast and mold.
The broth is packaged into individual, single test 2mL plastic ampoules. They are ready-to-use, convenient for microbiology laboratories where time, equipment, and trained personnel may be in limited supply.
It has a relatively complex formula compared to other media used for the isolation of fungi and yeast. It is rich in nutrients, which allows for exceptional fungal growth, while bacterial growth is inhibited by an acidic pH.
Note: Ships in an insulated box. Refrigeration is required upon storage.
